Portrait Photography

Portrait photography is a genre of photography focused on capturing the likeness, personality, and mood of a person or a group of people. The primary objective is to emphasize the subject’s features, expressions, and character traits. Portrait photographers often work closely with their subjects to create images that convey a specific mood or message.

Potential Locations

This is our most common location and our second favorite. It sits around Lake Allatoona and you get some of the best backgrounds imaginable. The spot we commonly choose is the Boat ramp that’s next to the bridge, as you can get the lake, trees, and the sunset all in one photo.

Berrj

Berry College is one of the most beautiful locations I’ve photographed in, and is the one I’m most familiar with (alongside Lake Allatoona), mainly because I go to school here. The area everyone loves is the Ford side of the campus, where you get all the castle buildings, as well as the reflecting pools. This area is most commonly chosen during prom season, and once you’re here it’s easy to understand why it’s loved so much.

Berry College requires a photography permit for professional sessions on campus. Be sure to request a permit in advance to avoid any interruptions during your shoot. We’re happy to help guide you through the process if you need it!

Dellinger Park offers wide open green spaces, peaceful ponds, and a relaxed, small-town feel that’s perfect for casual, fun sessions. It’s a local favorite for families, kids, and anyone who wants a laid-back photo experience close to home.

The historic Clock Tower in downtown Rome is a one-of-a-kind backdrop with classic brick, bold city views, and a touch of vintage charm. It’s a perfect spot for senior portraits, urban couple shoots, and anyone who wants a little more edge and history in their photos.

The Euharlee Covered Bridge feels like a step back in time with its rustic wood beams, quiet river views, and peaceful small-town setting. It’s a beautiful choice for cozy family photos, timeless engagement sessions, and anyone who loves a true southern classic.

A beautiful area that has been one of our all time favorites. The area many people choose is the main overlook that overlooks the canyon and has incredible mountainous texture in the background. You can also expect the sunset in the evening as well.
